7 Chords is a comprehensive iPhone library of guitar chords suitable for both novice and intermediate players. It utilizes clear and familiar tab notation from traditional guitar books and fingering charts.

Choosing a chord is simple: select the base tone and chord variation using the pick-wheel, then navigate through the chord pages to choose the voicing.

The app displays chord names, fingerings (including barre), frets to play, and the actual tones produced. With over 1500 common guitar chords included for electric and acoustic guitars, 7 Chords covers an extensive range of chord types.

Supported chord variations encompass sus2, sus4, 5, +, 6, 7, 7sus4, o7, 7b5, 7+5, 7b9, 7#9, maj7, 9, 11, 13, m, m6, m7, m7b5, mMaj7, m9, +9, maj9, Cmaj7b5.
